Where Do Your Human Rights Come From?

From where are your rights derived? This is an important question that needs to be addressed. According to our Declaration of Independence, our rights are universally endowed by our Creator, therefore our rights come from God. As one of the principle foundational documents of our nation, it is imperative that we understand the connotation being made here, and how it applies to our individual sovereignty. You may have noticed that in our modern culture, there has been a steady push toward atheistic ideals. From the stand point of governments and social controllers, why is this important? The answer is as simple as this: if you espouse atheistic ideals, or consider yourself an atheist, you deny the very existence of a Creator (or God), and therefore, you acknowledge that your human rights are mutable (i.e. - they are therefore not “unalienable”), and that they can be changed on the whimsy of moral relativism. If you do not acknowledge the existence of God, you simply can not acknowledge that you are entitled to any type of absolute human rights of any sort, at least, this is how the governmental policy makers view it. This is a dangerous stance to take, and leads to abuses of human rights and dignities. If you take up a stance as an atheist, you essentially disavow the foundational documents that guarantee our rights in this nation in addition to disavowing your status as a Child of God, and therefore you forfeit your basic rights, turning them into “privileges”, to be dispensed by governmental organizations as they see fit. Essentially, you’ve given up your autonomy and sovereignty to some other fallible human being. Do you really trust your government that much? The denial of the existence of God leads to a denial of accountability and ultimately leads to nihilism. Do you really want to go there? Think about this the next time you see religious beliefs under attack in the public forum, and understand that there is a very wicked agenda at work here. The game of atheism is a very dangerous game indeed. Please take this under advisement and consider the possibilities. I hope you find value in this article.
