UFO disclosure is becoming more and more imminent by the day. There are now treasure troves of government files available that give context to the reality of the UFO phenomenon. The proper term these days is “UAP” (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena). This series seeks to bring attention to some of the more obscure, or lesser known case files that populate the C.I.A. database for your consideration…

Today, we will look at the 1953 documentation of the investigation of a possible CIA leak in Donald Keyhoe’s book, “Flying Saucers from Outer Space”. Even in this investigation, the intelligence apparatus showed a very clear intention to disregard Keyhoe’s concerns and largely debunk what he was asserting, especially in regard to a potential coverup by the intelligence community. I find it interesting that exactly what Keyhoe suggested about this actually admittedly came to pass with the advent of Project Bluebook later. There was probably a good reason that this case file remained classified for the better part of 57 years, as it does seem to imply the preplanning of a coverup by the intelligence apparatus from the very early years of investigation of the saucer phenomenon. I will leave discretion to the reader as to the nature of each case file.
